British Education Centre considers requests from students for course deferment on compassionate grounds.
Deferment can be granted up to a maximum of one year.
Student have to give a written notice of the intention for deferment of courses to British Education Centre using our FRM-038 Request for Deferment of Course or Module Form. Parent/legal guardian signature is required if the student is under 18 years of age.
Students can approach their course consultant or any Student Support Services Staff for the form.

Once the deferment request has been processed, British Education Centre will:
- Issue a letter to student granting the deferment and indicating the period of deferment
- Sign an addendum to the existing contract
