Refund Policy

1.Refund for Withdrawal Due to Non-Delivery of Course:

British Education Centre shall notify the Student within three (3) working days upon knowledge of any of the following:

  • It does not commence the Course on the Course Commencement Date;
  • It terminates the Course before the Course Commencement Date;
  • It does not complete the Course by the Course Completion Date;
  • It terminates the Course before the Course Completion Date;
  • It has not ensured that the Student meets the course entry or matriculation requirement as set by the organisation stated in Course Details within any stipulated timeline set by CPE.

The Student shall be informed in writing of alternative study arrangements (if any), and also be entitled to a refund of the entire Course Fees and Miscellaneous Fees already paid should the Student decide to withdraw, within seven (7) working days of the above notice.

2.Refund for Withdrawal Due to Other Reasons:

If the Student withdraws from the Course for any reason other than those stated above, British Education Centre will, within seven (7) working days of receiving the Student’s written notice of withdrawal, refund to the Student an amount based on the following refund table.

3.Refund During Cooling-Off Period:

British Education Centre provides student with a cooling-off period of seven (7) working days after the date that the PEI-Student Contract has been signed by both parties.

Student will be refunded the highest percentage (stated in Refund Table) of the fees already paid if the Student submits a written notice of withdrawal to the College within the cooling-off period, regardless of whether the Student has started the course or not.

4. Non-refundable Fees:

The following fees are non-refundable:

  • Application fee
  • Administrative fee
  • Uniform – if uniforms have been given
  • Accommodation placement fee – if the accommodation has already been arranged
  • Airport pick-up fee – if the service has been used
  • IWC/FPS insurance fee
  • Medical insurance fee
  • Banker’s guarantee processing fee and Premium for security Deposit – if the service has been rendered
  • Course material fee
  • Examination fee / Re-assessment fee
  • Fees payable to government authorities or other external parties
  • Relevant bank charges paid by British Education Centre
  • Fees charged for administrative services (for example, late fees, re-prints of transcripts)

5. Refund Procedure

For student initiated refunds:

The student submits both FRM-022 Withdrawal Request Form and FRM-072 Refund Form or gives a written letter to British Education Centre requesting a refund with the reasons.

Students can approach their course consultant or any Student Support Services Staff for the forms.

British Education Centre will process the request within 7 working days upon receiving the request.

Upon approval of the request, British Education Centre will list the breakdown of refund, if applicable, on the FRM-072 Refund Form.

The student will then:

1. Sign the FRM-072 Refund Form as an acknowledgement

2. Sign the payment voucher confirming receipt of the refund

For British Education Centre initiated refunds:

British Education Centre will prepare the FRM-072 Refund Form with the refund breakdown listed.

The student will then:

1. Sign the FRM-072 Refund Form as an acknowledgement

2. Sign the payment voucher confirming receipt of the refund
