Overview
The Preparatory course for International English Languages Testing System (IELTS) is designed as a normal duration course to equip learners with the foundation in the learning of English Language covering the language skills such as reading, speaking, listening and writing. The course will enhance learners’ ability to communicate better under different situations.
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be awarded ‘Certificate for Preparatory course for International English Languages Testing System (IELTS) by British Education Centre
Objective
At the end of this course, learners are expected to have develop some of the basic linguistic skills, and be able to read or write some very short sentences and follow some short written sign-boards.
The Preparatory course is divided into four parts. IELTS consists of four subjects: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The course starts with listening, reading and writing in the morning and finish around noon; The oral exam should be completed within one week of the remaining three exam dates. The total length of the test is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, including listening, reading and writing.

Progression Pathway
Preparatory course for IELTS allow students to attend the testing of various levels of IELTS available for higher English education.

Minimum academic requirements: Completed Lower Secondary (Sec 2) or equivalent
Minimum Language Proficiency: Taken English as a subject at primary school or equivalent
